Don’t be fooled by its lightweight appearance. The Kid's Storm Chaser Jacket punches well above its weight when it comes to 100% waterproof protection. Constructed from a technical 3-layer UltraLite waterproof fabric, it will keep your kids dry during those unexpected downpours. Waterproof tested to 10,000mm (ASTM scale).

Thanks to an advanced hydrophilic membrane, the Kid's Storm Chaser Jacket blocks 100% of wind and water. This ensures peace-of-mind protection when the weather takes a turn for the worse.

100% SEAM SEALED

To meet the 100% waterproof criteria here at Stoney Creek, the garment is 100% seam sealed. This seam sealing provides extra protection at the seam stitching and ensures your Kid's Storm Chaser Jacket is built to perform.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Washing Notes: To extend the life of the garment and ensure best performance, use a small amount of non-scented liquid detergent. Do not use powder detergents, fabric softener, or chlorine bleach. Powder detergents contain artificial scents, UV brighteners, and abrasives that reduce the life of the garment.

After Use Care: Clean or wipe down any dirt, blood, or sweat. Ensure your rainwear layer is fully dry before storing it away. Store garments in a dry, damp-free place. Hang rainwear items up and do not store them in a cram bag or leave them crumpled.

Durable Water Repellency (DWR): If water is not beading off the outer surface, it's time to replenish the DWR. Wash your jacket through a standard wash cycle using liquid detergent. Then, wash it again using an in-wash DWR replenisher at 30°C or use a spray-on DWR replenisher. Dry the garment at a low temperature in a tumble dryer or air dry.
